Zygomatic Implants in Turkey
Full-Arch Treatment for Severe Upper-Jaw Bone Loss in Antalya
Zygomatic implants are longer implants anchored in the cheekbone (zygoma) rather than the jawbone. They are used in the upper jaw when bone loss is too severe for standard implants and the patient wishes to avoid extensive bone grafting.
At Dental Design Turkey, zygomatic treatment is planned on a facial CBCT scan and carried out under sedation with local anaesthesia. A fixed temporary bridge is fitted in most cases on the day of surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is zygomatic surgery more complex than standard implants?
Yes. It requires specific planning and surgical experience. This is why it is only recommended where standard implants are not possible.
Will I need bone grafting as well?
Usually not. Avoiding grafting is the main reason zygomatic implants are chosen.
Can I have zygomatic implants in the lower jaw?
No. The cheekbone is only available for the upper jaw. Lower-jaw cases use standard implants or All-on-4/6 implants.
How many visits are needed?
Two to three, depending on healing and the prosthetic stage.
